Here is my card for this week's Throwback Thursday. I don't have doodlecharms so I used a few other carts to make the flowers. I incorporated a lot of blue in with it. Thanks for stopping by and looking!

Since Cricut is becoming more expensive as the days pass and they are suing mom and pop companies who come up with programs that work with the Cricut I'm in the market for a new cutter. Look at your options! There are tons out there now :) I'll be back with real posts real soon. Catching up on housework... hubby is stateside for doctors appointments and possible surgery!

sorry
I promise to get back to blogging next week. Between medical issues with the hubby and me not having any energy to post it's been difficult. I've been scrapping and making cards a lot more lately just haven't made it to the computer. The hubby and I are heading out of town Friday morning for Switzerland to ski this weekend. He is helo-skiing on Saturday and then we both will ski together Sunday! Hope all are well and are being more productive than I have been!

Peachy Keen Stamps :: Sketch Challenge 44 w/a Twist
I have decided to push my creativeness by doing more challenges and what not. First up has been Unity Stamp challenges and now I'm branching out. I've been following Peachy Keen now for a while and decided yesterday that I needed to do this sketch. I have the perfect German card to show you. Below is the challenge details with a link to the original blog. Hope you come and play along as well!
Peachy Keen Challenge
First I selected all my shades of green. Then I cut out three circles with my gypsy and cricut. I added some polka dotted ribbon to a strip of paper and attached the circles behind the paper. I also cut the star out using my cricut and gypsy. I stamped his sweet little face using Peachy Keen Stamps. Using my cricut once again I cut out the word 'danke' which in German means thanks! I plan on sending this card to a dear friend of mine who sent me a present this week in the mail. Thanks for stopping by!
Paper came from different places, mainly from Walmart years ago. The ribbon also came from Walmart.
THE CHALLENGE
Create a card or layout based on the SKETCH provided
TWIST
Use a monochromatic color scheme
TWIST
Use a monochromatic color scheme
What exactly is monochromatic? Using tints and shades of the same color. (i.e. if you choose "red", you must use red, pink, light pink, medium pink, etc.) Black and white will also be allowed! C'mon, it will be fun and SUCH a challenge!

Baby boy card
Here is a card I made for a friend of mine who just had her baby this week. I plan on mailing it off with a little something for the family. I just haven't had the chance! I need to make another baby card for a friend of mine who is due over the summer. Seems like all my friends are having babies now-a-days! Anyway I used my cricut to cut out It's a Boy and then the moon stamp is from Unity Stamps. It came in a set that I got last month on a huge discount! I'm falling in love with all my stamps that I have purchased in the last two months. I can't believe how awesome all of them are. I'll have to do a blog dedicated to all of them!
